जिन्दा हूँ मैं अभी भी,
किसी की यादों  में, 
किसी की बातों में |

गूंज मेरी हैं अभी भी,
उन बेजां रास्तों के सन्नाटों में, 
उन पत्तों की आहटों में |

जिन्दा हूँ मैं अभी भी,
किसी की यादों  में, 
किसी की बातों में |

अक्स मेरा हैं अभी भी,
किसी टूटे कांच के टुकड़े में,
किसी प्यासे कुएँ के पानी में|

जिन्दा हूँ मैं अभी भी,
किसी की यादों  में, 
किसी की बातों में |

परछाई हैं मेरी अभी भी,
चबूतरे पे उस खेल में. 
पलाश के उस पेड़ में |

जिन्दा हूँ मैं अभी भी,
किसी की यादों  में, 
किसी की बातों में |

निशाँ मेरे हैं  अभी भी,
दीवारों के उस सफ़ेद में, 
दरवाज़ों के उन भेद में |

जिन्दा हूँ मैं अभी भी,
किसी की यादों  में, 
किसी की बातों में |

सिलवटें हैं मेरी अभी भी,
किसी किताबों के उन पन्नो में, 
घंटें के उन पहरों में |

जिन्दा हूँ मैं अभी भी,
किसी की यादों  में, 
किसी की बातों में |


Phonetic script and English translation:- 

Jindā hūn main abhī bhī,

[I am still alive,]

Kisī kī yādōn mēin,

[In the someone’s remembrances,]

Kisī kī bātōn mēin.

[In the someone’s talks.]

Gunj mēri hain abhī bhī,

[My echo is still there,]

(Un bējān rāstōn kē sannāṭōn mēin,)

[In the silence of lifeless roads,]

(Un pattōn kē  sāhaṭōn mēin.)

[In the sounds of the leaves.]

Jindā hūn main abhī bhī,

[I am still alive,]

Kisī kī yādōn mēin,

[In the someone’s remembrances,]

Kisī kī bātōn mēin.

[In the someone’s talks.]

Aks mērā hain abhī bhī,

[My reflection is still there,]

Kisī ṭūṭē kāan̄ch kē ṭukaṛē mēin,

[In the part of some broken mirror,]

Kisī pyāsē ku'ēn kē pānī mēin.

[In the water of some thirsty Well.]

Parachā'ī hain mērī abhī bhī,

[My shadow is still there,]

Chbūtarē pē us khēl mēin.

[In the play on Terrace/platform,]

Palāśh kē us pēṛ mēin.

[In the trees of the flame of the forest.]

[I am still alive,]

Niśān mērē hain abhī bhī,

[My marks are still there,]

Dīvārōn kē us safēd mēin,

[In the hours of 8th of the day.]
